Meet the Care Team
Lavinia Bucur is the current owner/operator of Galway Hill Senior Living. She is an experienced and dedicated registered nurse who has been in the field since 2006. She graduated with highest honors from Walla Walla University School of Nursing. After over 14 years working in a Level 1 trauma hospital, Lavinia made the transition to fully focus on operating an adult care home.
Her experience growing up in an adult care home and her hospital background give her a unique perspective that enhances her ability to bridge the gap between acute and long-term care settings. Lavinia is board certified in gerontological nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and takes immense pride in providing high-quality care to the residents in her adult care home.
Outside of her professional life, Lavinia is married to Marius, and together they have two boys. As a family, they enjoy spending time exploring the outdoors. Lavinia is also an avid reader and has a passion for solving jigsaw puzzles, which offers her a relaxing and enjoyable way to unwind.
